Theme: Mobile Technology and its Application on Education
Mobile technology has emerged as a kind technology of access that allow the user connected to the network while they mobile. Another view of this technology is the flexibility where network could design without regarding the layout of workplace. This technology has well developed to provide high speed data transfer as well as quality of services therefore it has applied in broad area such as in teaching and learning activities.
The development of mobile technology is not only done at the portable devices but also in software, services, contents, and also regulations. This application is also spread out of whole field of current human activities. At the other hand, the development of this technology will involved many kind of science and technologies, such as electronic, power management, software engineering, artificial intelligent, computing, policy development, and others. High demand of this technology should be answered with delivering the enhanced products.
In education, mobile technology has opened the new era on teaching and learning where it destoyed the boundaries of activities. Student and teacher could not present at the same room and time to conduct their learning activities. Distributed and distance learning as well as self-student learning are kind of application of mobile technology on education.

Teknologi mobile telah muncul sebagai jenis teknologi akses yang memungkinkan pengguna terhubung ke jaringan di saat mereka dalam kondisi berpindah-pindah (mobile). Pandangan lain teknologi ini adalah sisi fleksibilitas di mana jaringan bisa desain tanpa memperhatikan tata letak tempat kerja. Teknologi ini telah berkembang dengan baik untuk menyediakan transfer data berkecepatan tinggi serta kualitas layanan. Oleh karena itu teknologi mobile telah diterapkan secara luas, seperti dalam mengajar dan kegiatan belajar. Perkembangan teknologi mobile tidak hanya dilakukan pada perangkat portable tetapi juga dalam perangkat lunak, layanan-layanan, isi, dan juga peraturan. Aplikasi ini juga tersebar di seluruh bidang aktivitas manusia saat ini. Di sisi lain, perkembangan teknologi ini akan melibatkan berbagai macam ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, seperti elektronik, manajemen daya, rekayasa perangkat lunak, kecerdasan buatan, komputer, pengembangan kebijakan, dan lain-lain. Permintaan tinggi teknologi ini harus dijawab dengan memberikan produk-produk yang disempurnakan.
Dalam pendidikan, teknologi mobile telah membuka era baru pada pengajaran dan pembelajaran di mana DESTOYED batas-batas aktivitas. Siswa dan guru bisa tidak hadir di ruang dan waktu yang sama untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar mereka. Pembelajaran jarak jauh dan terdistribusi serta belajar mandiri siswa adalah salah satu penerapan teknologi mobile pada pendidikan.
